Test Everything
1Thessalonians 5:21-22
Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.
We have to face the fact that there is evil in the world. Yes, there is good stuff, but if we're not very careful we can step in a big ol' pile of evil.
To avoid evil we must be vigilant. We have to concentrate on everything we encounter and determine if it is good or evil. Test everything. When good stuff comes along, grab hold of it with both hands. And if it's bad, take care not to step in it.
Be on your guard.
