Acorn Build Up: Endurance and Hope

Endurance and Hope

1Thessalonians 1:3
We continually remember before our God and Father...your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

When the going gets tough, how do we keep going? How do we travel through the difficult stuff? How do we endure?

If we tie our hopes on Jesus, like our lives depend upon it (which they do), then we will find the strength to endure. Unfortunately, if we tie our hopes to ANYTHING else, we will be disappointed!

Are you going through a rough patch? To endure, wrap your hope as tightly as you can around our Lord Jesus.

If you know of a friend who is going through tough stuff, now may be the time to give them a lesson in knot tying. During times of deep difficulty, our friends may be more willing to consider tying on to Someone different. Be gentle, wise, and loving as you help them strap their hopes on the Lord.

Keep tied in!
Lon
