Thanksgiving
1Thessalonians 5:18
...give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
Pastor Seth Kempf from Salem Church (Gridley, IL) led a Children's Message at the Thanksgiving service on Sunday evening in Graymont (IL). He taught the kids that we can be thankful in all circumstances because God is with us. No matter how difficult our life gets we can always count on God's presence. That really is worthy of our thanksgiving!
As Thanksgiving Day approaches please consider thanking God for His presence in the difficulties that you are facing. It's good to count your blessings, but we are encouraged to "give thanks in all circumstances". This includes the tough stuff.
