Acorn Build Up: "Neighbor Build Up" (11/16)

Neighbor Build Up

Romans 15:2-3
Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. For even Christ did not please himself...

Paul encourages us to look to our neighbors and to "please" them. Not that we would receive credit for our kindness, but for the good of the neighbor. We are to please our neighbors so they get built up. This is a strange notion in our culture where we assess every initiative to determine our personal gain.

If you are blessed by these Daily Build Ups, please consider passing them on to your neighbors so they might be built up. It's pretty easy to do:

1. highlight and "copy" the following phrase:
Daily Build Up
2. "paste" the phrase into an email and encourage them to check it out!
3. then "send" the message to anyone you think might be built up by these devotions.

Acorn Ministries uses God's gifts to build up the body of Christ; the Church. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
